No matter which road we are driving in the area there's always something that makes you stop and take a picture of the beauty that surrounds us. So many people in this area are without electricity and water. There are power companies headed this way to help from all over the country so maybe soon the power will be back on.

I WOULD LIKE TO INTRODUCE

ASHLEY wearing the prom dress that she chose from david's bridal for her junior prom this year. Doesn't she look fabulous in the zebra print mermaid tail dress and doesn't the green wrapped around the mid section really show off that great figure.

Now we have to find drew something to match her dress. That task may not be so easy. I was thinking about something like this: see how the colors go together........and look at those shoes (that is a model not the real drew)

or maybe even this outfit (still not the real drew)

she's gonna be so mad at me when she reads this one.

that is what she gets for making me cry when she reminds me that she is graduating next year and will be out on her own. which reminds me i better start an inventory on my stuff or it may end up at her house when she moves out.........

Prom Dress

today i am going with ash to look for the perfect prom dress. hope i don't get to emotional watching my little girl who is almost 17 try on these dress. in my eyes its going to be like when she was 3 playing dress with my clothes. i will post some pictures later this afternoon when we get done.

Pet Peeves

am i the only one in the world who has a ton of pet peeves.

for instance slurping your milk when eating cereal that is a small one that re and cre have a very bad habit of.

i am also not a fan of waiting.

that is all i seem to do lately is wait for someone else to get something done before i can do my part. i just feel that people do not manage their time wisely enough and all that does is puts me behind. well i take that back not really behind but it holds me up. maybe i'm a nerd for having a weekly to do list maybe i should look at it as job security but i don't! i look at it as i am put out because now that you feel that your job can wait i guess so can mine cause i have nothing else better to do whether at the office or at home so i'll just set here and wait.

i feel that if everything on my weekly calendar gets marked off and nothing has to be moved over to the next week then i have a feeling of accomplishment. some weeks my weekly calendar looks like a 2 year old has scribbled all over it and some weeks it looks like i've sleep all week and not did a single thing usually because i am having to wait

maybe i need to send out a memo that would simply say

" Excuse me i want to let you know that when you make people wait it is holding them up from performing to their complete ability whether home or work so could you please be aware that i have something else that needs to be done other than waiting on you so if you could be so kind as to manage your time in a more efficent way then i won't have to waste my time waiting on you and my to do list may not have to be moved to the next week."

then all i would get is the long sign that means screw you i'll do it when i get around to it.



just makes me want to go outside and scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to The Eagle's Nest

which is my crafty scrapbooking room formally known as

"you know the room that the tanning bed is in"

i have been trying to get it moved down stairs for a few weeks now but finally after a few days of frustration i finally got it moved from my office which i out grew to the basement in this cozy room which is now known as The Eagle's Nest.

i think that it is only fair to have a name for my room since re has a shop on the property that we call the hot rod shop. so now i have eagle's nest and he has the hot rod shop. fair is fair

this is the girls area they love to craft/scrapbook with their aunt terry.....
i saw a white one like this at pottery barn it was used for towels but re made me this one to match the table above so i could hang my wrapping paper from...he so handy





re was tried when we were finally done carrying things down he took a little nap..

I feel out awlful today

because my house is a mess and i am having to work at the office today, well i have to work everyday at the office. i'm getting the feeling i spend more time at the office than at my house. this is my routine each and everyday....
get up 3-4 am get ready and head to the office
work until 2:30 pm go get cre from school and then go back to the office (did anyone notice a lunch in there)
work until 9-10 at night (i'm tired)

i have done basically the same thing for 3 years now and i'm tried. How am i suppose to get my work down if re is not giving it to me...taking a deep breath.
my house is suffering and my kids are growing up right in front of me but i am working my life away and i feel that i am just wasting my time.

i know there is pros and cons to every job but come on why can i not just say these are my hours deal with it people. and when your the owner the cons are starting to out way the pros and with the economy like it is these days that is just like putting a extra con on the paper. (my pros and cons paper i mean)
re and i don't just have to worry about us and our family we have the burden of worrying about the 10 other families we have as well.

today i wanted to clean my house and work in my new scrap booking room that i have moved to from the office upstairs which i have out grown.

haven't been able to exercise causing i'm working

i am thankful that we are still able to stay in business but i just wish i could say company 8-2 and home from then on but i haven't been able to separate it.
