Rude people should have a sign hanging around their neck to let people know before someone speaks to them. Ugh!!!!
I really enjoy most people but there are a select few that I could go without ever seeing again. Does that mean that i'm not a friendly person? I like not! I have a very friendly personality and as Ashley calls me a carpet that some people wrap their feet on but there are a select few people that make me a little sour just to see their face. I don't know what it is about this one lady vendor but even if I bend every direction to please her it is never good enough. Geesh!
Just sayin!!!!!

PS: dear blogger thank you for giving me a place to vent my frustrations. Also if I have offended of you rudys please don't be a hater!

Well today I realized that I did not do something that I usually do when im doing a project. I did not take a before picture of the dresser, or the 2 shelves that I have redone. Which in a way disappoints me cause now when I post the pictures you wont really be able to see how much better they look. Bummer!
Today has been a typical Monday went to general everything was going fine then employees started arriving I meant to one my angry toward something that wasnt the way I left it and that made for a discussion between me and ray and yet again to show my frustration yes thats right tears. Because in my eyes when he is angry by their action he speaks his mind but when I get aggravated at one of them I feel that if I say whats on my mind then I have done wrong. Honestly how hard is it to at least once a week clean the bathrooms so there isnt a blackish brown ring around the toilet. How hard is it? Seriously!

The theme this week is getting down to business.
I have been so busy (thankfully) at the antique mall this week after a very slow couple of weeks in the middle of January because of the weather and very cold temps. I welcome busy anytime I can get it at the antique mall.
This week is gonna be a busy one though because we are leaving Thursday for missouri to our first ever indoor car show with the peppermint express. We are going with our little group of friends that mean the world to us. We couldn' ask for better friends. Since it is our first car show indoors we have to build a car display and only have 3 more days to get it done and along with this we also have the get our business matters in order with both our companies that way it will run smoothly while we are away.
Goals for today is to work at eagles nest and when I can redo a vintage dresser to resale and fix my employees schedule for next week

well i have crossed another bridge into the success of my antique mall and my life as a whole. This week i hired a wonderful lady to help me manage my time at the heating and air company and the antique mall. it is very hard for me to give up responsibility for my job duties ( partly because i have been burned so many times in the past and i truly feel that it is easier to do it yourself and have to redo the work of others).
i made a decision at the end of last year to not be a work addict this year like i have been for the past several years and to spend more time with the family especially ray and the kids and to just simply enjoy the life that ray and i have made for ourselves. i asked myself the question why own a business and work yourself to death and miss out on the simple things in life because you don't like to release job duties that's crazy so i have put down my shield and I'm going to live my life and manage my employees the way a smart business owner should. i will deal with the problems and situations of having employees when the arise and mainly i will life my life to the fullest and enjoy every minute of it whether they are mistakes and pleasures. (now if i could just convince ray to do the same with general i would be on cloud nine.)
the thing that excites me the most is being able to give my home the much needed TLC that it deserves.
