Happy birthday to me. On this day today so far everything that could go wrong has and everything that should have gone right hasn't. Go figure! Thank you to all my employees that have made my husband have a bad day today. I really appreciate you and your ability to know when and how to screw my life up and cause me from having a great day to a day that has just sucked. Silly me should have known better than to expect a fabulous day! Its my birthday after all and work comes first. I should have remembered that from all the years past!
Happy birthday #36 to me!

The expansion of the eagles nest is coming along great! Only 1 week left before we are scheduled to open in our new expanded 9000 square feet. I am so excited to get to work at my gaint counter my husband made for me. I have rented several boothes this week for the new vendors to move in next week.

Just wanted to touch base and let everyone know that I have been so busy with the 9000 square foot expansion of my antique mall.
The furniture area is filling up quick and we are set to open 10 8x8 booths this weekend. i'm so excited because the expanded area is looking wonderful and I cant wait to get moved up to the front area. My husband has built me the most wonderful counter area in the world.
I appreciate him so much I really think u have the greatest husband\best friend in the world.

Vintage Finds

Gonna be changing my blog up some the next couple of weeks to a more primitive look revolving around my family and work........(not general work) but my new business my antique mall. I will also probably be changing the name of my blog as well.

But I always wonder what I can do or give up to get it all done to please everyone whether it pleases me or not.

Why do people have to say things that are not completely true. If there is one thing that Ray has taught me through our years together is that "there are two sides to every story and the truth is somewhere in the middle." This statement has been proven to me time and time again throughout our years in business as well.
I'm more the type to look over it, let it build and then one day blow a gasket. Ray is a head on type to confront the issue at hand and deal with it then and forget about it and carry on with the day ahead.
He's my idol...............so today will be the first issue i have to deal with at the eagle's nest. Whew!!!
